Gazelle 2023 is a project of fast-growing companies.

 

Fastest Growing Companies – „Gazelle“ – are being elected for the 20th time. This year, the list of the fastest growing companies included only 8.698 companies, or only ~8.7% of the total number of companies operating in Lithuania, including "MIROMAX, UAB". In 2022 there were almost 7.000 companies, in 2020 - close to 5.000 companies or in 2016 - 4.000 thousand companies.

 

Companies that made the "Gazelle 2023" list were included because of their achievements between 2020 and 2022, during which they overcame the difficulties of the pandemic and faced major challenges.

 

Evaluation methodology for the „Gazelle 2023“ project: 

 

1. Businesses of any ownership that started operations no later than 1 January 2019;
2. The turnover of the company in 2020 was EUR 100,000 – 3 million;
3. Turnover growth of at least 20% comparing 2022 with 2020;
4. The company was profitable in the last comparative year – 2022 –
5. The company's profitability for the period 2020-2022 is positive;
6. The company does not participate in the project unless recommended by the State Tax Office;
7. The enterprise shall not participate in the project if the State Labour Inspectorate has identified cases of illegal or undeclared work for 2022;
8. An enterprise shall not participate in the project if it is not recommended by Sodra because of the size of the average wage compared to the median of the relevant economic activity;
9. Included in the list are those companies that have submitted their financial statements to the Centre of Registers by 31 May 2023;
10. Transparency and transparency is an important criterion in the assessment of companies. The company must pay taxes in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and follow the principles of good business practice in its day-to-day activities;
11. The company is not afraid and willing to publicly share its experience.
